UPDATE: After last year working with my kids together I decided to separate them this year. My oldest works faster by himself and my daughter and I can work at her own pace. My son moved to Level F, but I thought my daughter would get bored with level E since it is exactly the same but with different numbers. That’s why I updated Level E. Level E is a review level, this book works with concepts learned on previous levels. 

Hello everyone, I’ve been working on my math workbooks. I make these workbooks for my own children, but I hope they can bless you, too.

Level D an E are for third and fourth graders. I made these levels so similar so I could teach both of my oldest children at the same time next year. Right now I homeschool 2 children but my youngest is so interested in school that I feel I won’t have enough time to homeschool 3 children, 3 different curriculum. So I’ve decided to homeschool my 2 oldest the same including math (after all they are only 1 year apart).

What does this mean? Let me give you an example.

Both of my children will be working on division at the same time, but my daughter may be doing only 24÷2, while my son may be doing 240÷20.

Anyhow, these are the things they’ll be working on:

• Place value
• Addition with carrying
• Subtraction with borrowing
• Multiplication and division tables
• Roman numerals
• 2 and 3 digit multiplication and division
• Story problems
• Find the unknown number on an equation
• Problems with parentheses
• Fractions

Encontrarán que este nivel es muy similar al anterior, lo hice de esta manera pensando en enseñar a mis 2 hijos mayores juntos, las diferencias que podrás encontrar son en algunos números, que para el nivel E son mas grande. Por ejemplo, los dos podrían estar trabajando con división al mismo tiempo pero con el nivel E las cifras serán más grandes, haciéndolo un poco más complicado.

This homeschool year I have decided to take a different approach. I bought a lot of math games to make it fun. But with all the games I didn´t want to get a curriculum with lots of worksheets for the kids to fill in. And then I got an idea: I could make my own math curriculum.

Since I didn´t have enough time to make a math curriculum for each of my children I started with the youngest.

Level A is for  4-5 year old kids. It has 33 worksheets (NOW WITH 90 WORKSHEETS), that is enough worksheets for this age group, enough to save as proof that they´ve being learning. The days we won’t be doing a worksheet we will play a math game.

Your child will learn basic math concepts like counting from 1 to 100, skip counting by 2´s and 10´s, and basic addition and subtraction.

Level B is for first graders. Your child will learn:

Hello everyone. This is my first time trying to meal prep for a week (or five days).

Almost 2 years ago I became vegetarian, but my husband and children aren’t vegetarian. As a result I have to cook 2 different meals a lot of the time, one for them and one for me, so I thought I could save time if I meal prep my food.

Breakfast

Sunday morning I prepped oatmeal in jars (I love mason jars), oatmeal, almond milk, peanut butter and banana.

Lunch

Before going to church I put black beans and garbanzo beans in my crockpot. When I came back they where ready.

I divided the beans in three different Tupperwares, and added canned corn and tomato. 

If you cooked more beans than needed you can freeze them and use them later. 

In the evening I cooked spinach and mushrooms, very simple, and some rice.

I just needed two more meals and my five days worth of lunches would be ready.

I don’t want to meal prep for dinner because we eat together and it always is a vegetarian meal.

So that is it for this week, pretty simple and fast.
